Probably longer than I can answer here, but my approach is to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using local tools wherever I can , and to only implement what makes jobs better, not kills jobs.
I was fortunate to have some time to reflect after my layoff last year, and realized with every job I brought the most value and had the most joy tackling difficult, heady challenges. In almost every role that meant about 30% of my time, and I hope by picking and choosing fractional work I can do the best bits closer to 100% of the time.
There are more tools out there than any one person can possibly know in a lifetime. I was lucky to have experience in a lot of them, and to be a lifelong learner, but if you are having a challenge with a specific platform / stack the best thing to do is to book some time to chat - I will be very transparent on my level of comfort to tackle what you need.
