A hands-on leader that drives solutions to the finish line

I am a media operations and technology expert with experience in Advertising, Film, OTT, and Media. In the last 15 years I have been fortunate to hone my skills on everything from multiple multi-million dollar Post facility build-outs to scrappy shoestring budget workflows. I absolutely love what I do and treasure the unique, quirky people who are part of the media business. A lot of my time lately has been focused on cutting through the AI hype and working on tools and solutions that actually add value to the business, while keeping data safe and causing the least environmental damage. My expertise is handling the difficult projects other people shy away from - I thrive under pressure and love putting together unique solutions. My operations background helps me stay grounded and focused on the artists and producers, since 80% of the success of any tech initiative depends on the people doing the work.

Absolutely, I love meeting new people and chatting tech! Time permitting, I'm happy to speak.

What is your take on AI tools?

Probably longer than I can answer here, but my approach is to be as environmentally friendly as possible by using local tools wherever I can , and to only implement what makes jobs better, not kills jobs.

Why fractional work?

I was fortunate to have some time to reflect after my layoff last year, and realized with every job I brought the most value and had the most joy tackling difficult, heady challenges. In almost every role that meant about 30% of my time, and I hope by picking and choosing fractional work I can do the best bits closer to 100% of the time.

Do you work with tech x or stack y?

There are more tools out there than any one person can possibly know in a lifetime. I was lucky to have experience in a lot of them, and to be a lifelong learner, but if you are having a challenge with a specific platform / stack the best thing to do is to book some time to chat - I will be very transparent on my level of comfort to tackle what you need.

Do you only work with media / video / print workflows?

No, although that is my passion and experience. I love helping small to mid organizations get their IT in order, and am happy to design an offshore support model that works for you.

Can you do hybrid work?

I am based in Lisbon, Portugal, so all my engagements are remote with the exception of onboarding / delivery / integration travel.
